How you can help.
The QBMS Mountain Bike Club doesn't charge any membership fees and so we rely on the generosity of our sponsors to pay for the operational expenses of the club.
You wouldn't think we would have many expenses except for the fact that we maintain a fleet of "Loaner" bikes for kids who otherwise wouldn't be able to ride with us. We also look after a large network of trails that are used not only by us, but by many other members of the community. Our yearly trip to Hornby Island is a pretty major expense with ferry fares, a truck rental and campground fees.
We rely on cash donations from local service clubs and businesses as well as raising money from our ongoing bottle drive.
You can help by contacting us if you'd like to donate cash or recyclable bottles and cans. The poor little wide-eyed children would really appreciate it
If you want to help with trail maintenance, we'd be glad to have you come out. The benefits are lots of fresh air and exercise and the satisfaction of a job well done.
