Development Process - The Site Design Draft
Once we have all the materials for your site, we can start on the draft of the site design. Usually we will build one page using the ideas you have given us. The page will include the entire navigation system so you can see how it will work. This single draft page is for you to see the layout and colours and any web page graphics we have built for you. When this page is finished, we will post it on our server for you to see. You can see what your website will look like and make any changes to the design and layout. You should already have given us your final copies of the text and images for your site.
When you have approved the page layout and colours, we will go to work building the rest of the site. It is important to be sure of the first page before we continue with the rest of the site because making changes to the layout, graphics and colours on many pages can be time-consuming and costly.
When we have completed the site, we will post it on our server for your final approval. Once again, we stress that the text and images you have provided us should be your "Final Copy". We will have to charge our hourly rate for changes to text and images after we have built the site.
