Phone (250) 248-7510 Email d.m.lorenz@telus.net Chinook salmon ( Springs, Kings or Tyee) are our main catch and these fish range in from release size to as high as 40 lbs. with the average keeper about 15 lbs. Also Coho ( Silvers), Pinks, Sockeye and Chums can be caught at various times of the year. Bottom fish (red snapper, rock cod, and the occasional flounder or even a halibut) could be caught on a trip.

As well as the fishing; eagles, seabirds, seals, sea lions and the occasional whale may be seen. Sightseeing only trips can be arranged as well as water taxi service to local Gulf islands. The boats used are 24 ft. cabin boats with room to get inside in foul weather, but also have room to enjoy the beautiful sunny days outside. All fishing gear: i.e. rods, reels and lures are provided and rigged up for you by your guide with instruction and assistance. The boats are equipped with VHF radios, electronic fish finders plus all safety gear. (P.S. toilet equipped.)They also meet both Canadian Coast Guard and Department of Transport safety regulations and are regularly inspected. All fish are cleaned and bagged for you and arrangements can be made locally for freezing, canning or smoking.

Whether it be a single person, a family or large business group we look forward to showing you a rewarding experience. Rates are based on a four hour trip at $75 per hour which will take up to 4 people. Each trip can be custom arranged for the size and time of your charter group. French Creek Harbour - situated between Parksville and Qualicum is our home port and we have boats available year round. Also available are trips for one to three days of halibut and salmon fishing in the Barclay Sound area of the West Coast. Accommodation can be arranged in a rustic cabin in a secluded inlet.
