Tourists occur everywhere. They have recently been spotted in Antarctica.
Tourists tend to congregate in sandy areas near water.
Tourists seem to be oblivious to other people around them. It is assumed that they get this way so as not to be distracted from the attractions they have travelled so far to see like waves hitting rocks, large buildings outlined in tiny lights, tall trees, giant balls of string and brightly coloured objects.
